Started reading the new book about Peggy's music and am happy to say that despite its cost it's a keeper.
The autobiographical parts yield little that I haven't read before, but the musical insights by Dr. Oney have prompted me to relisten to much of the early music that Peggy wrote and/or sang.
It's good to have a new book out on Peggy,and I hope it jump-starts a renewal of the proposed film biography.
